A living Sengoku Japan
Cherry blossom, green summer, harvest gold and deep snow. Every match is played in one season, and the season changes the land, the harvest and the march. Rivers, shrines, cedar forests and quiet hamlets fill the map, with farmers in the paddies and cranes in the shallows.
From farming village to castle town
Paint rice fields tile by tile and watch them flood, sprout and turn gold. Fell cedar, quarry stone, mine silver, then build storehouses, markets, shrines and walls. Your Honjin rises through four eras, from a thatched farmhouse to a five-storey castle keep.
Duels you can read, battles you can feel
Every blow lands on screen. Spears brace against the charge, cavalry crash into an open flank, archers and teppo gunners fire in volleys, and samurai cross blades one on one. Then pull back and drive whole regiments in formation, hundreds of men to a side.
Great clans, named generals
Lead the Takeda, Uesugi, Mori, Oda, Tokugawa, Shimazu, Hojo or Date, each under its own banner and with its own strengths. Recruit historical generals, 58 of them, each with a portrait and a specialty. And guard your Daimyo well: if he falls, the clan falls with him.
